Simple Fund 360 Trustee Edition Software Subscription Renewal Fee Increase – 1 October 2023

BGL will increase the Simple Fund 360 Trustee Edition software subscription renewal fee from 1 October 2023.

BGL has not increased the Simple Fund 360 Trustee Edition software subscription fee since the product was first launched in 2014.

Over the past 9 years, the Simple Fund 360 Team has released updates every 3 weeks with hundreds of new features, enhancements and compliance changes.

The time has therefore come to increase the Simple Fund 360 Trustee Edition software subscription fee.

From 1 October 2023, the Simple Fund 360 Trustee Edition software subscription renewal fee will increase from $200.00 plus GST to $250.00 plus GST.

CAS 360 Product Update – 30 June 2023

We are excited to announce the latest CAS 360 update!

What's New?

ASIC Fee Increase: ASIC company and business name fees have been updated in CAS 360 to reflect the ASIC fee increase that will take effect on 1 July 2023. (Note: Changes won’t apply until 1 July 2023). Learn More

Company Registration Post-Incorporation Document Pack: Users now have the option to add the Allotment Journal to the post incorporation document pack in CAS 360. Learn More

Incorporation State is now saved: When a user for a firm adds a new company registration, CAS 360 will automatically save the last used incorporation state (e.g. Victoria) in the user’s settings.  Learn More

Form 362 Cover Letter: If a company has been added to CAS 360 without directors, users can quickly add/select a contact as the form signatory while preparing Form 362.  If the user also chooses to prepare a cover letter, CAS 360 will now automatically prefill the letter addressee with the selected contact/form signatory information. User Permissions: New user role settings have been added to allow or restrict user access to specific CAS 360 screens. If a user is denied access to a specific screen, the screen icon will no longer appear in the left-hand menu. Learn More

User Roles: New user role permissions have been added to allow or restrict user access to the Company Selection screen. This user role is ideal for firms who only want users to complete Company Registrations without the ability to view/change existing company details. CAS 360 account owners and administrators can turn on or off the ability for specific users to view the Company Selection page. These permissions are set in the User Role Screen. Learn More

BGL API: The CAS 360 API allows partners to retrieve all Company and Trust documents prepared in CAS 360. Now, any document not attached to a specific Company or Trust can also be retrieved via the CAS 360 API using the document ID. Learn More 

Companies Listing Report: Columns for ‘Company Class’ and ‘Company SubClass’ have been added to the Companies Listing Report. Note this change only applies to the Excel version of the report, not the PDF version. Learn More 

People Group Report: When applicable, the ‘Business Name cease date’ will now be displayed in the business name section of the People Group Report. Learn More

It is with much delight that I get to present to you the BGL Executive Team.

The BGL Executive Team comprises of 7 individuals of the highest calibre that will continue to deliver on the strategic and operational requirements of BGL. With a combined experience of 123 years, our products, clients and team could not be in better hands. Let me take a moment to introduce each of them. Here goes:

Nadine Freitag, People & Culture Manager at BGL
Nadine has been instrumental in building people and continuing to strengthen the BGL culture. Nadine has an amazing can-do attitude with an extraordinary commitment to the betterment of BGL. Nadine’s attitude and approach represent everything that makes BGL great.

Adriana Cavallo, Head of Customer Experience (APAC) at BGL
Loved and admired by countless in the industry, Adriana has had exposure to many parts of the BGL business, excelling in all areas. A focused and committed individual who is customer and experience-obsessed and is instrumental in delivering the BGL value proposition. Adriana’s journey is an example and inspiration to countless.

Ashley Avileli, Chief Technology Officer at BGL
Ashley joined BGL as an IT Administrator and is the most complete and knowledgeable IT professional that I know. Admired and respected for his can-do approach, Ashley and his team keep the BGL engine running—the backbone of BGL. We wouldn’t be where we are today without him.

CAS 360 Product Update – 16 June 2023

We are excited to announce the latest CAS 360 update!

What's New?

New Report: A new ID Verification Status Listing report has been added to the AML Reports section of the Reports screen. This new report displays all individuals in CAS 360, their verification status and the date they were last verified. Learn More

Director Minute/Resolution and Cover Letter: When preparing the ASIC form 489 / 490, users can now quickly add representatives to corporate directors (who do not have one) using the Add Representative(s) option. Learn More

Foreign Companies: ASIC form 405 / 406 will now display the representative name(s) as signatories for corporate directors. Learn More

Independent Trustee: The newly added Independent Trustee relationship position for trusts can now sign trust documents in the same way a Trustee can and as an alternative to the Trustee. Learn More

Public Officer: A new Public Officer relationship position has been added for trusts in CAS 360. The Public Officer position will appear in the People Group report, Individual Compliance report, Contact Relationships screen and Register of Trust Relationships. Learn More

Seal Register Entries: When adding a new Seal Register Entry, CAS 360 will now automatically display the last code used to ensure the same seal code is not used twice for a company. Learn More

Minute Documents: Users can now choose which address to input in the Minute Documents from the Document Options section of the Document Production screen. Learn More

Trusts Relationships Screen: The user interface on the Trusts Relationships screen has been enhanced to create a more seamless user experience. Learn More

Navigation Sidebar: The user interface on the Navigation Sidebar has been improved to adjust to the size of the user’s screen dynamically. Learn More
